On the 17th of September, Scania launched the new top-of-the line R-series truck range. With new exterior and interior design, lots of improvements, several groundbreaking new functions and even better fuel economy then earlier, Scania shows who is the leader in the business.
Challenges
The world’s best truck - now even better! Obviously a dream for every marketing agency. The question was how to present all the interesting product news with both impact and cost-efficiency. And how to load the communiation with rational and emotional arguments.
Solution
Within the overall campaign theme “New Scania R-series. Pure premium in every detail.” Leon created an integrated campaign with the web as a natural epicenter. All activities, such as ads and direct advertising, leads the attention to a grand campaign site where the new vehicle is experienced and explored by primary film and 3D animations. As an example, you’re able to produce a short movie with yourself and the new Scania R-series as the star characters. The campaign is a part of the strategic communication concept “Destined to lead” that Leon created for Scania in 2008.
