Länsförsäkringar Östgöta. New name. Same company.
In the beginning of 2012 Östgöta Brandstodsbolag - one of
Sweden's oldest insurance companies - changed its name to
The name change in itself was no big deal, as the company had
been a part of the Länsförsäkringar group for a long time. And
since the daily operation of the insurance company is just the
same, with preserved - and at certain points even expanded - local
presence. But the name change still had to be communicated to the
public, of course, and here's where both we and the client saw an
opportunity make the company's unique position as the local,
customer-owned alternative a bit clearer.

the local touch, closeness and caring for other people, as of the
The first step of the campaign was a hockey event, where the new
name Länsförsäkringar Östgöta was exposed for the first time,
followed by i.a. TV commercials and ads in the local newspapers
